Non-destructive chop coming back?

edited May 2011 in Support
ok. so mentioned this in the general forum in response to loading bm1 projects into bm2 projects.

i would really like to know colin, if the next update will include non-destructive chop. i think it's a really useful tool for me.. and if so, will i be able to import my bm1 projects seamlessly (i.e all loop points and sequences in tact) exactly the way it reads in bm1? this would be awesome for me and i'm sure other people that have given up on loading their bm1 projects in bm2.

    Hello,

We just corrected a bug in the way BM2 was handling BM1 presets. This bugs caused the sample start and end points of a preset (if you used the Chop function from BM1 for example) to be read incorrectly.
Next update will include this fix, thank you!
As for the non-destructive chop, we may not include it in this very next update, because many new features and fixes have been done already and we prefer not to postpone the release of this update too much.

    Cheers,
    Colin
