They have a video on their website that explains how to sidechain.
BTW, sidechaining means to shape the volume of a sound using another sound as a source... For example, lets say you have a 4 by 4 kick and you have a pulsing 8 by 4 bass... You could compress (alter the volume) of the bass by telling the compressor to 'pump' the sound at the beat of the kick. It helps glue your tracks and makes them a bit more punchy.
I recommend you go to youtube and look for something like "sidechaining in ableton". ... Or if you use cubase, or pro tools or whatever... You'll get a good sense to it with videos you find... There are lots... If you only use your idevice... Meteor is the way to go for now.
