destructable chop vs non destructable chop?

just out of curiousity what is the difference between the destructable chop and non destructable chop. and how does either one benefit sampling? i been hearing alot of suggestion for non destructable chop.

    You will not need to create a million samples out of your chopped original sample... so no space is wasted in your idevice... and you can redefine the bounds of that chop later on without much problem.
