edited February 2012 in General
i just upgraded the firmware to 1.07 and it fixed the unbearable white noise when you try and record input to my meteor multitrack studio but not when i record an input in bm2.2! Serious problem if we cant SAMPLE.

    Oh not again...

Alesis is having some issues or app designers are...
Something is wrong in io dockville

    There is always a problem...
Yup, the noise must be extinguished...cuz im not buying every dock out there

Animoog has a noise issue on the output of io dock as does samplewiz.
    Now this...blahhhhh

    Hey...
Just went to the alesis forum

The issue with the Alesis iO Dock, GarageBand (and other apps), and iOS5 is related to changes in iOS5 to the way audio is handled on the 30 Pin connector.

We have been able to recreate this same issue with other 30 Pin devices including Apples own Camera Connection Kit.

We will continue to look into this and try to develop a work around. Several app developers have had success with this. Since this issues is coming from the iPad itself through the 30 Pin connector, there is little we can do at this time. I will keep everyone updated as things progress.

It seems to be an apple problem...ios5 has changed something about the 30pin plug.
    So wait we will...damn

Hey, check this out, found it on the Alesis forum:

I got Animoog to work following the FAQ on the moog site, it also fixed all my apps that had no sound with io dock

"First, note the hardware slide switch on the iPad next to the volume up/down buttons. Make sure the switch is not in the locked position (it shows orange if locked). This may fix the problem right away. Next go to the iPad Settings, go to General, and scroll down until you see “Use Side Switch To:”, and make sure this is set to Lock Rotation and not Mute."
