Akai MPD 32 Vyzex File Pad-Mapping (ABCD)

edited May 2012 in Support
Hi,

this File is for everyone who owns a MPD 32 and the software Vyzex MPD.
I have configured the pads in all banks (ABCD) to fit the pads in Beatmaker.
Play and Stop commands are working too.

Have fun with it...

    hi
that's awesome. been looking for some info on using bm2 with an mpd and i
have a 32 so that's great! can you upload the file again please as the link doesn't work anymore.
do you use irig? - is a satisfying set up? like an old style mpc?

    thanks

    hi,

the should download still work. this is a public drobbox link.
i'm using the camera connection kit.
there are some parts missing to be a perfect controller.
but the missing stuff is on intuas side. for example, you can't control the mixer with the faders if you are in an instrument view.

    bye

you have to right click "save as" to get the file. My question is where and how do you place this file into?

    hi -
mapped it myself in the end (should have right clicked!) and now have the the mpd 32 up and running. love it.
ditching the mpc for good now.
moon - did you get yours working? you open vyvex editor and then from the file menu point
    to the .sqs file.
be sure to save the preset on the mpd 32 as well.

anyone had any luck getting the rec and forward/rewind buttons working on a midi controller?
that would be the icing on the cake.
    and the mixer?

    I was able to get the transport to work, but no record button <!-- s:o --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_surprised.gif" alt=":o" title="Surprised" /><!-- s:o -->
By setting the mpd32 to internal clock. I am not sure if BM2 will follow
    incoming midi clock though.
