edited January 2012 in General
Any plans? My contract is over in about a month and this is kinda important in my choice making.
Thank for such a great product.

Nope, never gonna happen. ios and it's internal core software is better than android, and Apple caters to the ios music production market better than Google. until Android has better sophisticated software like ios, you wont ever see beatmaker on them.

Is the Android OS that bad? iOS that different? I've wondered why there are very few music app on Android...Anyone new the technical reasons for this?

I have read on many dev blogs that it has something to do with terrible latency caused by the os, and there is no workaround.

Even if they fix it, it will be years before the pro music app market kicks ass on android.

I am still unimpressed with android...if you are a general user...its good anything else its poop

Yeah it the latency and its something like 300ms ice cream sandwich was to hopefully make things better. This has been an issue that developers who wanted to shift to android were trying to get Google to address. Google dont seem to have a team to advise or sort it out. Not even a guitar Hero game would be good enough. Im one of those people who bought SupremeMPA thinking it would someday be any good. That day hasn't come yet.... Long live Beatmaker 2
