BMK File Format

Is there any documentation for the BMK file format? Does Beatpack create kits that work with BM2?

    Hi,

    The BMK file format is an XML file that contains a kit description and info.
    BeatPack is made for BeatMaker 1, but BM2 can also read kits and projects files from BM1.

    Thanks for the reply. Is there is anything that documents the xml attributes and what they mean? It would be useful for developers that are interested in writing tools for creating kits.

    As of now we do not have any developer documentation about the file format, but we may do that in the future.
    In the meantime, hopefully, most of the tags should be pretty straight-forward to figure out.
