Digital AV Adapter: Quantized/Bitcrushed/Distorted output
I'm having an issue with BeatMaker 2's audio output through the Digital AV Adapter connected to my iPad 2.
I have the audio and video output going through via HDMI cable to my Black Magic Intensity Pro HDMI PCI capture card on my Mac Pro. While the video was perfect, the audio sounded quantized / bitcrushed. Perhaps it even sounds as if it were going through a ring modulator too.
I have made a recording of one of the demo songs playing and will upload it to your support staff this evening.
I suppose my question is whether BeatMaker 2 is intended to send audio through the Digital AV Adapter? If not, do you plan to incorporate that?

The audio dump is an excellent idea, feel free to send it at support [at] intua [dot] net
From what you describe, it is likely to be a sampling rate /sample resolution problem.
I'll look into the issue as soon as possible.
Thank you,
Mathieu.
