I had alot of questions actually about beat maker. I finally got my Ip address to work and just started messing around with the program.
Still having a hard time placing my patterns down onto my Sequencer. I know how to lay then down. But as far as saving and making the tracks longer I'm still a little confused <!-- s:? --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_confused.gif" alt=":?" title="Confused" /><!-- s:? -->
Do you happen to have any advice or tips for me?
Thanks

each pattern u make (1/4) can be placed onto the sequencer (song builder) and duplicated and edited to make a 1/8 - 1/6 note/pattern, ect. (ex- pattern 1, then 2, then 1 again, then 3 (which would be ur break-down or w/e) so u can have longer patterns with brake-downs ect. so u dont just have the same drum/instrument pattern repeating itself over n over again on 1/4 notes - sorry if my words arent professionally put, its easier for me to doit then explain it !
and, take a lil more time building ur kits (finding sounds). i try n make sure i can make 1-2 GOOD beats/songs with each kit (atleast 1 good one). build and cut/chop ur own loops and put them on a pad, instead of putting 5 bass drums on a kit, use the 5 basses to create a loop, then re-make ur kit (or, i make my loops first on the pc with acid pro) then add to the pads/kit !
hope this helps ! and thanks for listening to my music ! many many more to come.
