MPC Program Support
BM2 will be even better if you can add support for import/export MPC (500/1000/2500) programs in addition to the BMK2 files. I have lots of kits in that format and it's a real pain to port all of them to be used in the BM2 App.
And I think it will be a real + if people can export the kits to finish their work in the MPC as midi sequences can already be exported.
I'm sure that I'm not the only one that thinks that it would be a great addition to app.
All this will leave Akai's new app out of the game <!-- s;) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink" /><!-- s;) -->
I found that someone else was asking for your format specification: http://www.intua.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2749
And there is the MPC (500/1000/2500) file format specification:

Comments
From the opensource MPC Maid to NI Maschine (direct competitor of the new MPC Ren & Studio), what I don't know is if its developers paid to Akai or not.
BTW Akai is releasing the MPC Fly and they say that you can use it with any Core Midi app so if they make $$ from the Fly sales maybe don't care about this. Who knows...
