Bluetooth and app to app tempo and midi sycn?
hi!
i'd like to know if beatmaker2 can synchronize tempo (and send an receive midi) to other apps in the same idevice, or to other idevices using bluetooth. i suppose that in first case beatmaker2 can stay in background mode while running.
i am using other apps that do it easyly (loopy or funkbox), and it's very useful in order to play using two apps at the same time.
i need it to send midi patterns to other app, having the two of them on sync.
i have beatmaker1, and would like to know this before buying beatmaker2.
thanks a lot!

You can synchronize tempo with bluetooth connectivity using Korg WIST, which is available in BeatMaker 2, and other music apps. WIST handles tempo and play/start messages, however it can't be used to send/receive MIDI messages.
Take a look at: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.korguser.net/wist/">http://www.korguser.net/wist/</a><!-- m --> for more information about WIST, and a list of compatible apps.
Also, we have a video tutorial demonstrating this feature: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href=" m -->
Cheers,
Mathieu.
thanks for your answer. what about syncing and sending midi to an app in the same idevice?
cheers
You can do that too! We support MIDI inter-connectivity of apps running on the same device.
You can send and receive MIDI from other apps easily.
Take a look at this micro-tutorial: <!-- l --><a class="postlink-local" href="http://intua.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=2834">viewtopic.php?f=9&t=2834</a><!-- l -->
BTW, you can check the user's manual and discover what BeatMaker 2 is able to do:

Cheers!
Mathieu.
have a nice day.
