Audio interface that works with BM2

edited June 2012 in Support
Looking for a audio interface that connects via camera kit for iPad.
Must have at least 2in 2out, at least 1 midi in/out.
Anyone have any success stories?

    Hi,

    Our "reference" audio interface is the RME Fireface UCX: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.rme-audio.de/en_products_fireface_ucx.php">http://www.rme-audio.de/en_products_fireface_ucx.php</a><!-- m -->
    It's definitely not cheap, but it's a great desktop and mobile interface.

    The Lexicon Omage works too: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.lexiconpro.com/static.php?id=85">http://www.lexiconpro.com/static.php?id=85</a><!-- m -->

    Thanks!
    It's definitely tricky because of apples updates etc... Apparently the alesis unit has been rendered nearly useless.
    Also looking at the tascam iu2 unit, but there are reports of bad behavior there too.

    What about the new Behringer one - is that any good?

    Just checked out the behringer... LOL have they NO shame at all...
    Looks just like the alesis!

    Also looking at the akai eie pro, even though BM is 16 bit

    I've been using the Griffin iMic. Even tho it's cheap as all hell, it works pretty well and has been stable for me for two years. Just stero mini in and out but I use a mixer to feed audio into it, so I'm not concerned about it not having a bunch of different input options.

    I've got the akai eie pro on the way- it'll also make a decent laptop interface!

    Update- when it arrives I will drive to the postal service and return it. Well,
    Maybe I'll try it out but this dumb ass didn't read that the pro needs asio drivers...
    Then in a few days the EIE will arrive and all will be well...
