reorder tracks in sequencer

edited December 2012 in Support
how do i reorder the tracks in the sequences.

eg if i add a new drum track i don't want it at the bottom under my other instruments, i'd want to move it up to the top with the result of my drum tracks. <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

It's not possible right now, unfortunately. Hopefully someday it will be added!

    Sad times

    It's easy-
Simply select any instrument, and create a new inst or track. The new one will appear after the selected instrument.
The problem is we can't move them around if need be

Yeah, problem with that is if I want a different drum sound I can't do that because I'd I change the drum sound for one track it will change it for all tracks that are created from the original.

    Thanks.

I'm not talking about adding a sequencer track from an already created instrument-
Just create as many instruments as you need

Ok, I see what you mean.

However, I select an instrument in the instrument view then click on add and add the new instrument, but it pops it at the end of the list of instruments and the same in the sequencer view.

If it works how you say then that's perfect, but I'm obviously missing a step.

    Cheers.

Nope. Not gonna happen because you're forced to use the same instrument/kit as the one you duplicated from. If you change the "new" one the rest change with it.

    Matthew,
I apologize- after all this time I realize now that I gave you s*** advice... It's not possible to reorder tracks in the seq yet.
