Keys and Pads no longer visually respond to playback-?

In the past, if i were to playback my song,
then in the instrument view,
the pads and keys would light up as if being played.
I thought this was great visual feedback.
Do they no longer do so? Did this change in 2.3?

Hello zetagy,
Visual feedback is still here in BeatMaker 2.3!
Mathieu.

Yes, it is still there. I remember now, here's the deal:
Visual feedback exists when there is a sample loaded on the pad or key zone.
If the instrument is empty, or uses no preset, then no feedback occurs.
It would be great if pads and keys did light up, even though empty;
many times I'm using a BM2 instrument purely to drive an external MIDI app.
The only fix for now is to load an empty sample on each pad or zone...

He means when the pad is triggered by the sequencer ('playback my song').
There is actually no feedback, what makes no sense to me, too.
