Virtual midi help

edited September 2012 in Support
I was wondering if I could record the music I make in bm2 that I have connected to midi through sunrizer and after its recorded export it as a wav file?

Because for the most part I have some really dope stuff I made playing with a sunrizer synth in bm2 and have recorded but when I export I don't get any of the sunrizer audio.

    Beatmaker can only export audio it has created. In your setup BM only controls sunrizer, but the sound was created by sunrizer and so cannot be exported by BM.

    What you have to do is:

    1. Record the sound in sunrizer while BM is playing the track
    2. Import that audio to Bm ( e.g. Place it on a free pad
    3. Trigger that pad on the right position in the sequencer

    From now on you hear the same as before, although sunrizer is not running. Means now bm is generating the sound (well plain audio) and voila can export it <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

    P.s. In the hopefully near future, when audiobus is out, these things will become much more easier <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D --> <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D --> <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->
