What are you using as a controller?

edited November 2012 in General
I got a (1st gen) axiom 49 with the camera kit and im getting a message that says I don't have enough power to rum the axiom. Thing is I have a adapter , so the keyboard is on. What are I doing wrong here or is my keyboard controller not compatible?
Is there a list of compatible hardware on the site?

    Try this-
Make sure the adapter is powering the axiom, then plug the cck into the USB cable, then plug in the the iPad. Some hardware likes it like that

Korg padKontrol works outstanding with ipad 2 and camera connection kit. Thinking about getting the Akai MPD32 as an upgrade, but so far the padKontrol is an easy setup. If we ever get a VA synth in there with lots of assignable knobs, then I'll have to upgrade to using some keys too that have pads and knobs on the controller. It is the coolest compact setup. Just need a Bluetooth portable PA with decent bass response and a few more live mode options and I'm taking this out of the house to play for people.....

I just wish Akai would make an iOS version of their mac/pc software for editing the knobs, slides, pads, midi channeles, ect...
