Sustain pedal as midi note?

edited December 2012 in Support
i'm using an alesis io dock (which has a footswitch input) and wondering if there's any way to use the footswitch to trig a note or pad on beatmaker (so i can use it to play kick drums with my foot)?

if there's no way? would you implement it? i guess it has to be simple since it'll just map CC64 to a note like, say, C1.

Hehe. I did that in Logic's Environment (using a MIDI mapper module) to map my Sustain pedal to the bassdrum I doubt something that elaborate will be implemented in Beatmaker though

actually live playability is i think the most powerful weapon in the hands of beatmaker 2, the ability to use a sustain pedal for triggering a note would be awesome for most people. no app in ios platform had ever this feature before and this will be a killer feature if they implement this and i will gladly do a video of it being in use.
