Preview Midi Files

Is there a way to preview a midi file, say a drum loop, before I drag it to the squencer?

    What sounds would you propose that the midi file trigger to preview? That doesn't make any sense. Midi is instructions, not audio.

    Sorry for sounding like an asshole-
    What would be sweet is for midi files that have samples connected to them,(ala reason's "Rex" files) to be someday added to beatmaker 2.
