Recording Midi from Lemur, using Midi through + Audiobus

Hi All

Was playing around with the new update last night. Finally got it working having read all the problems people have been having.

OK, here's what i want to do.

I've been using <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.avantgardesound.com/">http://www.avantgardesound.com/</a><!-- m --> to but together chord progressions. Anyone with ipad / Lemur should check this out.

I've successfully routed midi into beatmaker > Beatmake to animoog > Audiobus from Animoog > into Beatmaker.

I want to record the midi and audio.

when using audiobus i can't record midi. Can someone please confirm this.

I've configured midi in without audiobus and it works.

Is this a BUG?

    Thanks for checking this out.Glad i'm not the only one experiencing this problem.

    It it too do with the difference in latency between midi / Audio so.

    So Midi recording is not possible?

    I had something similar, recording Animoog into BM2 via audiobus. Audio fine, MIDI zip. I switched off Animoog and went into thumbjam and tried the same set up and it worked! I can also get it to work directly if I don't have a blank keyboard loaded, ie if it's piano or something*. I don't think Animoog is to blame either, I think it's a problem for the first app loaded (I'm at work now, so can't confirm). Hope this helps

    PS *then using the midi out with the slider volume set to 0 gets me where I want to be anyway, as a workaround

    Can anyone help? I can't record midi in from an external source.

    Step poly arp / Lemur

    Am i missing something. Midi input enable, record enabled.

    Midi through is working, but i cant record the midi that is coming through.
