an easier sampler instrument mapping for velocity layers
first of all, i'm ok with EVERY SINGLE NOTE on keyboard has the number of velocity layers that you define, not individual layers per note, BUT it's a REAL PAIN in the ass to adjust the note, root note and range of each velocity layer for every single note. for example, if you're trying to create a velocity layered drum patch (which i did, painfully, creating an acoustic drum patch using samples i exported from addictive drums, with 3 velocity layers), you will spend most of your time trying to set your note, your root note (which will be the same as your chosen note) and range (which will ALSO be same as your chosen note) and you'll have to do it for all the layers of notes in your instrument/drum sampler. plus, if you don't want to use velocity layers on a note, say, you want to use the same kick sample on all the layers, you need to set all the layers on that note and choose the SAME sample on different velocity layers AGAIN. all of these makes you waste great time you should be wasting composing beats and stuff.
so either add velocity layers to the drummachine instrument or fix this issue. at least, let us make the root note and range parameters setting the same value as the NOTE value by double tapping it.
it's hard to describe this by writing but i hope you understood what i mean.

Very well said. MicGee$ and others have also banged their heads against the wall on this issue. The very reason why I tried the keyboard sampler ONE TIME and don't ever use it. Ever.
What does this thing really differentiate with?
I'm waiting on it to improve...but my hopes are not high
