is it possible.... drum pad trigger question pls :)

To setup a drum pad so that when you hit it, you get one shot.... but hitting it again will stop the cue (or preferably, be able to fade down ????)

Thank you all

    I don't think so.

But you ca set it so that it is a hold drum pad and when you let go of it, it fades out instantly and stops playing what it is triggered to play.

As above and get the fade out by setting the Adsr sustain and release to suit

I had found those options but I can't sit & hold a pad while mixing live to air TV...
I need both hands on the console, hence the question.

Thanks for the quick answers anyway....

    cheers

IO Dock has a foot pedal/switch input that could be used to trigger midi, dunno about options for other docks, but that would be the logical solution IMO

Or not a dock but one of several MIDI pedal boards around. Them you also get 6 or 8 pedals. Behringer, for example, at around $125. You can also pay more if you want better quality.
