pc or mac program to create instruments?

edited June 2013 in General
Hi!
I am just about to switch from nanostudio which i love but which doesnt have multisampling and a sidechainable compressor.
Now I just had a quick look through beatmakers sampler which seems to be quite basic but has everything I need (except some more and better sounding filters - but I can live with that).
Now I have a hige sample library as I used to produce and release drum & bass back in the days using hardware, later kontakt and some plugins.
I would love to create some instruments for beatmaker from my library but don't really want to use the ipad for this as I think these things can be done way faster on a computer.
Is there any program which allows me to map samples, edit parameters and save in beatmakers native format or even better does beatmaker allow import of other sample formats, if so which ones?

cheers,

jens

  • no....there is the beatmaker one editor and that is all
  • That would be awesome, i'm currently searching for options to play live with ios devices, since ios 7 now has coremidi :D
My actual configuration is a midi controller with ableton live and several plugins, mostly massive, and the sampler from live.
I want to transfer some of the sounds of the sampler to my ios device, and for the synth, i think SunrizerXS can substitute massive... i need to reprogram the sounds thou...
  • Wouldnt it be nice if beatmaker had autosampler or robotsampler type abilities...hook it to any midi device with patches and it would sample, edit, and keymap it for you...like redmatica
