clublime - This Ship (Club, Chill-out)
The track "This Ship" is my entry for a competition running on audiojungle.net
It's awaiting submission approval, but I thought I'd share it with you guys now anyway.
The competition revolves around a short piano motive which needs to be
incorporated in a composition with a maximum length of 1 minute.
Apart from 4 samples I bought earlier and the obligatory competition motive,
I created 11 sounds specially for this track:
- 2 main vocal parts (yes, that's me singing ;-) ), layering two vocal tracks with heavy echo
- backing vocals (me again :-) )
- tongue click with heavy echo (own voice again (omg!))
- 2 water sounds (water poured from one glas into the next, pitched down)
- 3 bass sounds (Roland MC-303 and Korg Kaoss pad 3)
- 2 synth sounds (Roland MC-303 and Korg Kaoss pad 3)
The samples were mastered and pre-mixed using Audacity software on PC.
The track was put together and mixed in BeatMaker.
Go check it out! :-)
