DemoTrack Drum and Bass

edited June 2013 in General
Heres a quick demo track made using our sunrizer sound bank called Torque for sunrizer synth and the forthcoming biohazard pack for beatmaker..

all sounbs are from the preset pack and all the beats from biohazard. All put together using beatmaker 2. Mixed using beatmakers effect processors no other apps apart from those 2.

its only a quick demo.. I will make a better one closer to release of biohazard.

thanks

all the sounds are from the free versions..

  • Sounds good. Do you have any idea, when they are available?

I'd buy them without hesitating. I'm really searching for generic (no offense) DnB single drum hits, and that seems to be promising!
  • Well a little bit of mystery never hurt did it.. :) l

yeah there's plenty of single hits, sampled synths, mufti instruments, etc etc.. We did have a few issues here n there and so biohazard is slightly delayed but I think it be ready within the next 2 weeks. I know the lite version is almos done as i been working on it.

Also u can get torque now from the site or the free version is actually downloadable from the app. Also there's another free bank for e.d.m that has a few handy sounds for drum and bass...

Dark shadows has very gritty, dark sounds for nave synth..

Thanks...Well it was made on an iPad 4 but could of easily been an iPad 3 as I just made the beat in Beatmaker and just used picked and tweaked presets from our pack. Audio copy paste into Beatmaker every time I was happy with a sound. Did a bit of automation with a few sounds, used beatmakers a compressors and eq and other fx to mold it a bit. Most sounds were resampled when I ran out of fx slots. :) oh and overdrive was used mildly on a few things. No sidechaining as didn't really think about it.. Would of made it sound better. Next time :) Was done in a few hours.
  • Yeah auria would be the way to go for mixing down for sure... I did think about starting to do a few tutorials so I'm glad to hear you would be interested In those..

As for the demo track I didn't even use a controller or anything else to make it although I do use the beringer uma25s keyboard sometimes.. But if I'm honest I can pretty much do everything without a keyboard controller..

I'm waiting for the istudio thunder to come out as I think that will enable better integration into a studio environment.

What kind of tutorial would u like to see first?
  • Tutorials!, are always welcome! good post.....
  • I hear you.. I think it's best to keep it on the iPad rather than take it to pc.. Be good to do it strictly mobile as to be fair u can get good results.. Not to mention its getting more powerful software month by month.

    yes. no pc.....

If i could say one thing. I feel simple tutorial work best and not to long. under ten min.
    maybe a few short ones?

Well i do mean detailed, but just project in parts. so you don't have to watch a 30+ min video.
Just to see how you do your drums or mix etc.....whatever either way! :)
    tutorials are always good.
  • Lol nah I'm still about.. Just finnishing of biohazard and few other things.. Should be done and out sometime this coming week. :)
