drum machine pads' midi note numbers

is there a way to edit what notes the drum machine pads use?
similar to "notes" on an mpc if youre familiar with that?

    I think they are "hard wired" i had to program my controller to play the notes of the pads not vice versa...which took a little bit of time :). Saved it in the controller, got it all workin

    There's a learn function now, you don't have to reprogram the controller.
