Midi controller app -> BM2 -> Synth app?

Sorry if this has already been discussed, I searched and couldn't find anything.

So I'd like to use a midi controller app like Lemur to control a synth such as Animoog and record the midi I'm in to BM2 for editing and playback. I have no problem controlling Animoog from a BM2 sampler keyboard but I can't seem to figure out how to get it to record and pass thru midi.

Is this possible or am I spinning my wheels?

    That's a shame, it's a very basic function of DAW I would have thought they would have works it out already.

    Hi @Dustyny,

    Open the studio pop-up and press the gear icon on the top right.
    From there go to MIDI SETUP and enable MIDI THRU.

    It's very simple- lemur midi out to BM2, BM2 midi out to animoog as IAA instrument.
