Damn! I wonder what sounds he uses with it though, lol.

Also if that is indeed BM2 cause I see an ipad but it does look like it might be. Very inspirational video indeed!

Edit:NVM! HE says he using Beatmaker in the video..thats so sick! I wonder if Intua ever spoke to him. Maybe he could endorse or something like that and give them a few ideas for what he would want...you never know.
  • He uses his own samples. Just like anyone else would?
  • SMH, of course he does but he gets really good sound out of it and makes banging beats which is not something everyone can do. You make it sound like thats easy.
  • What's not easy about it? He probably just uses proper compression and eq like anyone else and keeps his tracks away from like-frequencies in the mix...manufacturing a much cleaner bigger sound
  • I got a huge arsenal of thousands of sounds that I have gathered and independently tweaked to get great sound...

Well, it's hard for me to do so lol. Not everyone is as skilled as you but my original point was he could give them ideas that could take intua to another level and be even more serious for real music makers, or he could just endorse or what not.
  • After reading App Store reviews I think that it might benefit BM2 to have no internal samples at all; then it might click for people who complain about the built-in sounds not being HQ that this is a different kind of app with a focus on hosting/streaming/controlling samples as opposed to simply containing them. Sample libraries range in price and quality and are available to download online 24/7. What we need is functionality to serve as a reliable host for those files and that's what BM provides. In spades.
  • Hopefully BeatMaker 3 will ship with very few samples included, and simply offer any other free samples/kits as in-app downloads. That would be ideal.
  • I agree, and @deejohnson, I am not that "skilled" but thank you. A lot of the fun of a sampler to me is to turn on beatmaker2 and run around with it on my iPhone sampling shit everywhere...this stuff can then be altered and used...and honestly...it's very inspiring to capture your own material.
  • Indeed, BM2 is very inspiring. It has room for improvement but is great. Even better than Garage band as well I would say and even Nanostudio when it comes to sampling. It has room for improvement but is amazing.
