Akai mpk mk2 beat pad

I love beat maker 2, and everything works except for the drum pad on my akai mpk mk2. When i use them it triggers different samples, and wont even trigger all the pads on the app. does anyone have a layout or instructions on what to do?

    Hey @wicholas99,

    You can use the MIDI learning feature so that BeatMaker 2 can react to the MIDI notes sent by your MPK.

    To do that:

    • Create a new drum sampler or open an existing one, display it
    • On the transport bar, you will find a small "LEARN" button, press it
    • The pads will turn blue
    • Press pad 1, which will now turn red, and press the first pad on your MPK. After proper learning the pad will turn back to blue.
    • Repeat the process for each pads

    In case no MIDI is received you can try toggling the OMNI mode on the transport bar, or check the MIDI settings of the instrument. They are displayed when you press the small "MIDI" button next to the instrument thumbnail on the studio pop-up.
