Mapping out midi with Akai MPD218

I'm trying to use an Akai MPD218 with beatmaker and I can't figure out how to map the drum pads. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Did you try midi learn?

    Press learn at the top of the screen you should see the pads flash purple, then press the pad on the screen and the pad on your controller you want to trigger it. Do that to map parameters to your controller.
