Moved from FR (Solved) IAA / audiobus as Hardware input?

Why is the iPad mic the only option for hardware input? It was an easy to use feature of BM2 to select audio app as an instrument. It's very confusing to load it into a pad as a sample and then route that to an audio track via the mixer. I definitely need a tutorial on how to use this to record other apps. Am I missing something? Thanks.

    Easiest way for now is to add the IAA-Apps or AudioBus as a Plug-In to a pad and use that pad as the Input source for recording.
