Think I maybe read on here already about issues or it being fine but I've forgotten and can't find any posts on it... Just want check its working OK before buying.. This forum needs a 'search' function!
So... AU = totally different ios experience. Infinitely better than IAA etc. Decent no fuss vst equivalent (so far.... Haven't used for more than half hour yet). Determined not to spend a ton of money on apps and try to keep things 'BM3 only' as much as possible but having a few plugins that integrate as well as isem does inside BM3, multiple instance, is a pretty big deal for something as portable as an ipad. Changed my view on ios for music...
Hopefully apps I already have like animoog/sunrizer/ims20/filtration etc sort themselves out and add AU functionality...
From a dev standpoint, AUv3 over IAA, anytime. It will take time to get all of our favorite apps to be AUv3 ready, but we're getting there for sure :-)
@mathieugarcia all looks really promising And good to hear that it's also a positive thing from the developer's point of view
Quick grumble - I just went to throw a step modulator on isem filter.. Seems there's no modulation options on AU params? Didn't notice this before as hadn't used an AU.. Really hope these make an appearance like the other added modulation destinations you already confirmed are in the works
