With the lack of a manual, a quick question.

First off, this just became my favourite piece of software on the iPhone. It is a perfect demonstration of the iPhone's capabilities, but also an amazing tool in its own right. You guys should be really proud of what you've accomplished here.

This is potentially a functionality question, but also potentially a feature request:

Say I record one pattern with one kit, but that kit is quite restricted so I want to load another kit to complement what I've done already. Is this possible at all? I don't mind how you achieve it; obviously if I can preserve the pattern I already recorded for future editing, that'd be ideal, but can I mix down a pattern, then use that as a basis to record another pattern?

I understand that memory/resources could pose an issue when doing things like this, but I had to ask.

    you can save the project so you can always edit later, then export as a wav. Just create the first part, drums maybe, then save the project and export as drums.wav or something. Next you can create a new project and load any other kit, then import that exported drums.wav as a single pad. Now you can hit the pad to start the drums you did earlier in the first project, and then have your newly loaded kit to play some melodies or whatever on top. Its a bit limited, but the only way I know of to do the full song composing if you need more than 16 samples. With the new pitch shifter it makes it easier though to use less samples and still get melody, great job intua!

    I just thought that when I was in the car earlier. Thanks for confirming!

    It's weird, I'm not amazingly into this way of making music (guitarist/vocalist, myself) but I'm having so much fun with this. Love going into the sequencer section and manually inserting beats in their correct place - get some amazing layered effects like that.

    You're right! Great job, intua <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->
