to bounce down. That is record a pattern and then turn it into an audio file that I can put straight into another pattern?

    I think you can do that.

    - Export your song to 'mixdown.wav' (or whatever you choose to name your file)
    - select a free pad in the pad screen and hit SAMPLE>load and find 'mixdown.wav'

    voila. You can replace all pads seperatly.
