In the manual and the App Store screenshots there is a "Chords and Scales" button below the pad view. But when I open BM3 (version 3.0.3) it's nowhere to be seen. Any idea why? Screengrab below for demonstration:
Not sure exactly what you need, but the screengrab is already in 'SCALES'. I guess Intua deemed it unnecessary to have both - a button below the pads and those in the left panel.
FYI: the Chords and Scales buttons in the left panel are new to 3.0.3.

You welcomed me to a particular department in another forum a while back, and I welcome you to this one.
What goes around etc..
In case anyone else is confused, you have to tap the "Octave" button on the right of the pads so it changes to "Semitone", then tap the up/down arrows above and below the note display until you get a root note, then you can go back to the Octave mode.

Hi King! I recognise you from the Auria forum of course. Thanks for the reply.
So, how do you set the root note or key for a particular scale? That's what I was hoping to be able to do with that button.
OK I figured it out
