I'm not getting this issue at all here, I don't have much content loaded currently though, but when i type snare in the samples it just shows snares ??
Have you checked the non related samples tags, see if it might be a tagging issue.
Might be worth rescanning the database, if that doesnt work a hard reset of the database, they do say use the hard reset with care though, i have never had any issues, but i believe with a lot of content it can take a while.

Text search can be improved for sure, also, the text rendering is glitchy, so it's not 100% clear what is the current search query.
Yeah i just want to know if it is a bug before adding it to the list
