‘Create Pattern’ from slices with spaces

I would love it if there were an option to ‘Create Pattern’ from slices with spaces so that this would result from these slicer settings...

    That's exactly what i get when i make patterns, has something changed in 3.0.6, i better check !!!

    The few times I tried, since 3.0 I only ever got this...


    With some recorded material (when I am not just creating samples) I will have lots of slices (around 60 - 100 or so) spread out more or less where I want them in a track. Having ‘slice translation’ or ‘space preservation’ (whatever you want to call it) would be great for editing this recorded material.

    Yeah they did some save pattern fixes i reported bugs on in the previous version, it must have caused this.
    Will report to @mathieugarcia ;)
    I think this needs moving to bugs ?

    I noticed this is under 'Bug Reports' but it feels like it should be a feature request.

    Pretty sure I would class it as a bug, how can save with pattern be a pattern if it ignores spaces ?
    That isn’t a pattern, just notes in order.

    Hmmmm, I see your pov... Ultimately I think having an option for 'Stacked' or 'With Spaces' would be nice.
