Normal midi learn function?

I really don't understand why the option midi learn exist in all the controllers.
Or make it work, or remove it.

For now it's frustrated to see the option and it's midi learn function bind it good,
But after that, nothing happened.
If I look in the modulation page I can see it has bind to the controller.

Am I alone in this or are there more people that don't get it?

    It did exist looked you double click a controller choses modulate and you have a midi option to chose here>
    The problem is that they doesn’t do anything or don’t work at all!! Or I haven’t understand how it woks.
    Second problem is that cc are not recordered in the timeline making it impossible to automate external hardware.
    As far as as know Mathieu should change this hope, it’ll be soon.
    I am really missing this functionality

    Yeah +1 for midi learn. not keen on focus actions etc. macro's are great. but I wanna midi learn any parameter AND have the option for macr's that control any parameter.

    For me it's not clear, and some times midi is not act properly.
    I have seen the iPad pro not reacting on midi properly without omni.
    If I set track 1 to midi ch 1 and track 2 on Ch 2 it don't react and takes only the selected Chanel.

    But only have seen this on the iPad pro.
