please defer system edge gestures
recently ios allowed apps to delay the system ui at the screen edges, i believe using preferredScreenEdgesDeferringSystemGestures() ... this would be great for BM3

It's already implemented in BM3...
huh, does not appear so for me. ui pops up immediately on my air 2with latest ios 11... working for you?
