(I am using BM3 mostly for a live-improv-electronica-jamming workflow)
So far, the thing that is making BM3 rock my world in the best way possible is THE MACROS.
This would be my best tip: Make sure you have a MIDI controller with AT LEAST 8 knobs (16 knobs preferred (I like novation launch control)) that you can use for the macros and learn to really use the macros creatively.
Map MULTIPLE THINGS TO EVERY MACRO
Invest the TIME to do creative macro mapping in each of your tracks / sets / sessions / whatever-you-call-them.
(Disclaimer: I'm not sure this is quite as useful if you are not using BM3 for LIVE JAMS. I personally want loads of customizable tweak-a-bility that I can mess with in real-time)
