Sorry if I misled by using the term 'date code'. It doesn't do anything clever with metadata, It simply means your sessions always show in year/month order when viewed alphabetically.
You can also add the days of the month (YYYY-MM-DD) if you're really prolific

My tip here is to date code all your sessions (it's just good housekeeping tbh)
All my sessions use this name format:
YYYY-MM - SESSION TITLE (VERSION)

well, there might be date metadata in there somewhere, but you'd have to add the date to your project name yourself
