Lengthening or Adjusting Pads?

I'm attempting to use samples that were assigned to pads.
When I go to record a pad (sample) it gets cut off short of what is entirely on the given pad.
Question: How do I lengthen the recording to fit the entire sample into the recording sequence?

    I have experienced this also. It seems to be a bug. I have found that reloading the sample seems to work. Give that a go...

    edit waveform or when you look at patern and press the up arrow you get to pick one two three or four bars to play...select four bars to hear the whole sample...edit waveform usually works cause the internal memory tries to save space...highlight the whole waveform to play...good for chopping samples down manually
