Grid slice. Last slice is non functional

When attempting to use grid slice, why is the last slice always not created. I can split slice just fine. Is this a bug with the software?

    This is an old bug, thought it was fixed, can you give steps to recreate ?

    Yah I noticed this too. Just seemed to start happening for me after last update.

    Ok. So I go to auto slice and select grid slice. It correctly slices the sample but the last slice is not mapped. So it is basically unplayable
