Something to consider for larger mixes is using Auxes as Busses (Groups) in BM3. Leave your first two or so Aux sends for effects sends and then use the additional sends to build a pre mix to the Aux. then you can ride the Auxes (automate) for dynamics. You can blend background vox, keys, guitars, percussion, etc. and quickly balance them.
