MPD16 only triggers current pad?

Hi there,

I have an MPD16 hooked to BM3 in midi.
My issue is that BM3 doesn’t seem to see it as a set of pads and therefore plays only the active pad in BM3 at different pitch values (corresponding to pads’ notes).
I’d like to match the 16 pads of BM3 with the 16 pads of the MPD.

Any idea?

    I know Doug Woods aka The SoundTestRoom on YouTube has a video on how to hook up and run the AKAI MPD-218 in BM3. Not exactly the same but similar... might give you some answers.

    Any idea of how to pilot external midi gear, by the way?
    I’ve set the bank’s midi in/out etc but only get 1 note played by BM3. It looks like a similar issue.

    Turn off Midi Omni in Settings. Look at BM3's Midi settings.
    MPD shouldn't need Midi Focus Actions set up, but try it if the first option doesn't work.
