Tools organizer

What tools organizer do you use? Once I lost my torque wrench for two weeks—found it under a pile of screwdrivers—I knew I had to do something. I ended up getting pegboards. Now everything’s hanging up where I can see it.

  • Pegboards are nice, but I don’t trust hooks. If I bump into it wrong, my tools end up on the floor.

  • I was thinking about getting one of those magnetic strips for my wrenches. That way, I don’t even have to open a drawer.

  • Shadow Foam, man. I cut out spots for all my sockets, even the tiny ones. And since it’s chemical-resistant, I don’t worry about grease messing it up. I found useful article about kaizen foam and shadow foam. It holds its shape over time, unlike some softer foams that degrade quickly. Shadow Foam allows me to create precise cutouts for tools, ensuring a snug fit.

  • Sounds like I need to upgrade. Maybe I’ll do a mix—pegboard for the big stuff, foam for the precision tools.

  • I love it when everything is at hand and in perfect order! A convenient organizer is my lifesaver, which helps me not to get lost in my affairs and always be one step ahead. It is especially important when it is not only functional, but also stylish!
