control multiple samplers from 1 midi keyboard

edited March 2012 in Support
is it possible to control say, two drum machines and a sampler from one keyboard? i.e.octave c3-c4 would trigger drum machine 1, octave c4-c5 would play the sampler, and octave c6-c7 would play drum machine 2. is this at all possible? or can you only play the instrument that's currently opened up?

    Hi offthesky,

You can achieve this in BeatMaker 2. Follow these steps:

    1. Disable OMNI mode via the transport bar
    2. Create your instruments
    3. Setup each instrument to listen from the same MIDI Channel using the "MIDI" button on the studio pop-up.
    4. Then, map samples as your liking in the drum machine and keyboard sampler

Hint: Each pad displays the Bank Number, Pad Number and more importantly, MIDI Note.
Hint 2: Map your samples on the keyboard sampler using the mapping editor (in the screen)

    Hope this helps !
    Mathieu.

  • I found this site through a comparison page for platforms available to players in the United Kingdom. I wanted a place that had a very clear and easy-to-navigate interface. I checked out jackbit casino official website and was very satisfied with how simple it was to find my favorite games. The poker section is particularly well-done, and I had a great time competing in some of the smaller buy-in tournaments. It’s a very reliable and fun site for anyone looking for a local gaming option.
