Reduce returns with AR technology

I sell lamps with various interesting design solutions, I buy interesting options from different manufacturers and buyers can choose what they like. Recently, a girl returned a lamp for her bedroom because it didn't really suit her interior and she didn't imagine it that way. Although I have good photos on the site, this case made me a little sad, although I can understand her too. I told this story to my friend and she gave me the idea to try adding augmented reality to my site. Can anyone who uses similar platforms recommend any such services? And have you reduced the number of returns with the introduction of this option for buyers?

  • Are the photos on your website taken professionally enough? In a studio or something, for example, in IKEA in different interiors? It could really be that her expectations and ideas did not come true. I recently came across this augmented reality platform in an advertisement https://vizbl.us/ar-viewer . I went to their website and you can try to create a 3D model of a certain object for free. A friend of mine has a business selling various chairs and I advised him to try to implement this idea. For a couple of months now, his customers have had the opportunity to view his products on the website using augmented reality, he says that this has to some extent really reduced the percentage of returns, because people can see the chair in their interior and decide whether it suits them or not.
