How to Export Contacts from Lotus Notes to Outlook?

If you're trying to move your contact list from Lotus Notes to Outlook, you're not alone—this is a common challenge when switching email clients. One effective way to handle this is by converting your Lotus Notes contacts from the NSF format to a format that Outlook can understand, such as CSV or PST. While manual methods exist, they can be tricky and sometimes risky if you're not familiar with Lotus Notes' interface.
To make this process easier, you might want to use a reliable tool like eSoftTools NSF to PST Converter. It supports the export of contacts along with other mailbox items and allows you to selectively migrate data. The software is easy to use, even for non-technical users, and it ensures your contact details—like names, emails, and phone numbers—are safely preserved during the export process. It's definitely worth checking out if you're planning a smooth transition to Outlook.

I recently had to transfer my contacts with Lotus Notes to Outlook and have some confusion, so I thought I shared what works for me, perhaps it helps someone else. Outlook doesn't know what NSF files are, but Lotus Notes does. At first, this made things hard. I tried to accomplish this manually, but I failed to find a way to transfer the address book without making a mess. I found a tool named Softaken NSF to VCF Converterafter looking around. This lets you export your Lotus Notes to a format that Outlook can use. I decided to utilize it to switch my contacts, and once I had it, I just opened Outlook and used the File > Open and Export options to do so. The software also kept all of the contact information. To be honest, it saved me a lot of time. If you are transferring email clients as I did, give this software a try. It is easy to use and worked great for me. I hope this helps someone.
