Is a full truck load profitable for businesses?
I own a company, and sometimes we need large-scale transportation. We have our own vehicle, but according to our calculations, it is not profitable. We are considering switching from partial cargo to a full truck load. We want more control and stability. Does anyone work like this already? Is it really more convenient and faster? Or is it more of a hassle that does not pay off?

Is your cargo always the same type, or do you need a different approach for each order? Are these one-off shipments, or do you regularly load the truck? Our company distributes goods for auto repair shops. Previously, we sent partial loads, but there were often delays and mis-sorting. Sometimes, the cargo would arrive at the wrong place. As a result, when there is a batch of more than six to eight pallets, we immediately order full truckload (FTL). We work with the company GetTransport. I recommend reading this article; everything is explained competently there https://gettransport.com/glossary/full-truck-load . In terms of money, it turns out to be more profitable if you calculate the logistics for the year. Yes, with FTL, you need to plan logistics better. From a business point of view, however, this is an investment in stability.
