Karambit Fade

Just unboxed a Karambit Fade but the float is pretty bad. Worth keeping or should I trade it for something more stable in value? Not sure if the pattern makes up for the wear

  • Congrats on the Karambit! Even with a bad float, that's a great pull. I'd hold onto it for a bit - knife prices usually stabilize after the initial excitement. What's the fade percentage? That matters more than float for some collectors

  • If you're unsure about the fade pattern value, check out https://dmarket.com/cs2-wiki/ - they have detailed guides on all the Karambit Fade variations and how much each pattern adds to the base price. I used their tools when I got a Blue Gem pattern and almost traded it for way less than it was worth. Their price history charts show that even bad float Karambits tend to hold value pretty well compared to other knives. They also have a section that shows recent trades of similar items so you can see what real buyers are actually paying, not just listing prices
